Branch Manager - NW OKC

Description:Communication Federal Credit Union has an opening for a Branch Manager at its branch in Northwest Oklahoma City. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, staffing, service delivery quality, productivity and overall image of branch.
Duties:1. Handles branch operations to provide quality member service in compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures; regulations or applicable laws. Serves as main source to answer questions from members or staff on financial transactions.
2. Seeks remedy for technical or administrative matters to assure corrective action is taken. Monitors member interactions with staff and resolves issues. Acts judiciously within authority limits to make exceptions for check holds, waiver of fees, etc.
3. Supervises workflow and schedules staff accordingly. Evaluates performance and conducts appraisals of subordinates. Participates in hiring process; assists in sales coaching and training for staff on product knowledge and techniques.
4. Oversees or engages in all aspects of lending at branch level; assuring loans are expeditiously processed and documentation is complete and accurate.
5. Monitors control of cash and other negotiable instruments including vault, drawers and petty cash. Makes sure branch is balanced daily with accurate completion of all related documents (e.g., bank deposit forms, cash shipment forms, monthly cash counts, branch audit certifications, etc.).
6. Ensures branch facility reflects a positive image by maintaining prudent housekeeping and security measures.
7. Serves as a backup to positions within the Branch and performs all functions on an "as required" basis.
8. Assists Corporate Development in promoting Credit Union to select employee groups or community and serves as primary contact for membership relations in given area.
Qualifications:1. At least two years of experience and/or training in a financial institution with progressively related responsibilities leading to a supervisory capacity.
2. High school diploma or G.E.D.
3. College level courses in business subjects considered as related experience.
4. Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job required.
